• Description: Provides parenting education classes to Native American residents of Lake County. Coffee and lunch is provided.
  
  'Babies Are Us' Parenting Class:
  • Infant and basic needs care
  • Positive parenting approaches
  • SIDS Prevention and safe practices
  • Physical and motor skills development
  • Social and emotional support & development
  Infant and Toddler Play Group - provides social interaction activities with other children and between parent and child. Focus areas include:
  • Block Play
  • Art Activities
  • Sensory Exploration
  • Music and Movement
  • Emotional Awareness
  • Language and Literacy
  Circle of Security Parenting Class - 10-week class that helps strengthen parent/child relationships. Teaches parents and caregivers new ways to understand child's needs and behaviors. Teaches effective ways to respond. Participants must register. Offered at Tribal Health Clinic at 925 Bevins Court.
